Kita-Card

The Kita-Card is the prerequisite for registering a child in a nursery in Bad Salzungen. It should prevent multiple registrations and provide more planning security for all parties involved - you as parents as well as the day care centres.

The Kita-Card is valid in all kindergartens in the city of Bad Salzungen. It can be applied for free at the Citizens' Office immediately after the birth of the child - after which you will immediately receive your Kita-Card.

The card will then be presented at the day care centre of your choice and is considered a binding registration.

When is it possible to admit a child to a day care centre?

As a rule, places available in the day-care centres after the summer holidays are allocated from August/September. If the day care centre's capacity allows this, earlier admission is also possible.

Closing times

The muncipal nurserys will stay closed on the following days in 2019:

Friday, 31st of May
Friday, 4th of October
Friday, 1st of November
Monday, 23rd of December, till Tuesday, 31st of December

The nursery „Villa Kunterbunt“ in the district of Tiefenort will have an additional closing time because of the move into the new nursery „Schloss-Kindergarten“: 15th till 18th of April.
