Langenfeld

Langenfeld was incorporated into Bad Salzungen in 1974. The village stretches over 1520 hectares in a south-westerly direction of the core town of Bad Salzungen and forms the connection to the Rhön in a southerly direction via the B285, for example to Kaltennordheim or Dermbach.

The district got a sports field with a sports home and a community centre, which resides in the former old school.

Just like the Kloster district, Langenfelds got a very lively club life. For example, the Männergesangsverein, a carnival club and a sports club can be found here.

Langenfeld is also home to the young "Ober der Brück" industrial estate, which is constantly being expanded.
